What's Allowed & Encouraged

To foster an enriching environment, we actively encourage members to:

Constructive Debates & Diverse Views Challenging ideas respectfully, debating public policy, sharing philosophical views, and offering constructive criticism without attacking individuals.
Original Art, Humor, & Satire Posting original videos, photography, comedy sketches, memes, or satirical commentary (clearly identified as satire).
Community Safety Assistance Utilizing the in-app reporting tools to flag suspicious activity, harassment, or dangerous content so our moderation team can take swift action.

Strict Prohibitions (Zero Tolerance)

The following violations are strictly forbidden and subject to immediate account restriction or permanent ban:

1. Hate Speech & Discrimination

Content that attacks, dehumanizes, or incites hatred against protected groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

2. Harassment, Bullying & Doxxing

Targeted abuse, non-consensual sharing of private personal information (doxxing), threats of harm, or coordinated trolling behavior.

3. Explicit Nudity & NSFW Content

Sexually explicit media, pornography, or non-consensual sexual content. Owuza maintains strict zero-tolerance policies for child exploitation material.

4. Violence & Dangerous Activities

Promoting physical violence, dangerous challenges, self-harm encouragement, illegal weapons distribution, or terrorist material.

5. Misinformation & Impersonation

Posing as another individual/brand to deceive users, or spreading harmful synthetic deepfakes intended to manipulate public safety.

6. Spam, Scams & Platform Manipulation

Automated bot engagement, phishing schemes, financial scams, malware distribution, or artificial like/follower manipulation.

Enforcement & Penalty Matrix

When violations occur, Owuza applies proportional enforcement measures depending on severity, intent, and repeat history:

Reporting & Appeals Process

How To File An Appeal

If you believe your content was removed in error, submit an appeal within 14 days for human review.

We provide creators with tools to curate their own space on Owuza:

  • Comment Keyword Filters: Block custom words or phrases from appearing under your posts.
  • Mute & Block Options: Prevent specific users from contacting you or viewing your public feed.
  • AI Moderation Disclosure: Automated systems assist human reviewers in catching spam and high-risk material instantly.
